Job Description: 

We are seeking gifted and experienced counselors to provide specialty care for adolescents in residential treatment who are struggling with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders.

Qualifications

Required-Master’s degree in Counseling/Behavioral Health/Social Work
Required-Experience and Training in Trauma and Family Treatment
Preferred-Professional Licensure (LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
Preferred-Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC I, II or III)
Competent in providing trauma therapy, family therapy, group therapy, clinical
assessment and DSM 5 diagnoses, developing treatment plans, suicide assessment,
safety plans, crisis intervention, behavior management, case management and care coordination.

Job Summary

Therapists provide co-occurring mental health and substance use treatment services, case management and care coordination for a caseload of adolescents in our residential treatment program. They work in collaboration with the client and the treatment team to implement developmentally appropriate evidenced based clinical interventions and trauma-informed therapies that promote improved behavioral and symptom management. They also implement and oversee the residential milieu’s behavior management program (Collaborative Problem Solving) and ensure its delivery is in alignment with best practices, is strengths based, and is developmental in design.

Location:  This position is based in beautiful Prineville
